Theda Noir, aspiring burlesque star began her journey at the “Burlesque school” and later at the “Rouge Academy” in Milan. Her name draws inspiration from the early 20th century’ actress “Theda Bara” to her figure as a woman “vamp,” a woman who enslaves men and then gets rid of them. But Theda Noir’s backdrop overlooks a world of burlesque that intertwines Old Hollywood and a new image of women, one that enhances the female body for other women as well as for men and just wants to have fun among boas and sequins, perhaps with a dark side and at the same time algid and dreamy.
